We are excited to announce the opening of Reclaim! A new non-profit organization whose mission is to empower women and communities to reclaim their moral goodness, reproductive rights and access to reproductive healthcare by engaging in advocacy, community outreach, and education to facilitate transformation of views of reproductive health in culture and society. Our elected officials are spending too much time legislating women’s bodies and their right to make their own choices surrounding their reproductive futures. In light of the recent presidential election, we need advocacy now more than ever. We trust women and promise to advocate for legislation that does the same while educating communities on their reproductive rights. Through fundraising events, merchandise and donations, Reclaim will use the Michigan Women In Need Fund (MI WIN) to assist women seeking abortion financially to help defray costs of access including transportation to a clinic if you don’t have one near you, or childcare. Join Reclaim in supporting local abortion providers and access to safe and comprehensive reproductive healthcare.
